River Logic and Barkawi Partner to Deliver Operational Excellence with Prescriptive Analytics

March 28, 2017 | By River Logic News

DALLAS, March 27, 2017 -- River Logic today announced its new partnership with Barkawi Management Consultants (Barkawi), a specialized strategic and management consulting firm focusing on helping clients improve the performance of their supply chain and aftersales service operations. Barkawi's client base includes global blue chip companies such as Daimler, Siemens, Coca-Cola, and Lufthansa.

Barkawi and River Logic first met at the Gartner Supply Chain Conference in 2016. Barkawi quickly realized that River Logic's unique platform approach would enable them to deliver previously unachievable benefits to their customers through enterprise-wide prescriptive analytics.

Barkawi intends to develop and deliver these solutions as part of its growing US-based Operational Excellence program, led by Eric McBride, Barkawi's Director of Operational Excellence Practice. McBride stated, "River Logic gives us a scalable, lightweight product that can rapidly solve complex optimization problems. Most importantly, their platform is so user-friendly that it will enable our clients' business users to interact with and get value from the solutions we deploy long after the original project is complete."

River Logic has invested over two years of research and development into bringing its 17-year-old modeling and optimization solution to the cloud. River Logic's approach ensures that its partners can deliver a visual, highly intuitive user experience that puts the power of prescriptive analytics into the hands of business professionals, from analysts to C-level executives.

"Barkawi is an ideal solution partner because they already have embedded knowledge of their client's technology landscape, but they also understand how to frame and solve strategic business problems within a defined process," said Nathan Goldstein, VP of Channel Partners at River Logic.

Both firms see the partnership as strategic enablement of their rapid growth objectives, and intend to maintain their keen focus on creating customer value by solving more complex, challenging problems.

Barkawi will continue to focus on serving companies within discrete manufacturing and plans to leverage River Logic to offer its full range of clients a series of Operational Excellence solutions, including portfolio management and capacity planning. Barkawi will also use River Logic to deliver executive S&OP to small and mid-size companies within discrete and process manufacturing sectors, who are more focused on increasing profit margins than enabling basic planning processes.
